Notes vacation rentals Czech Republic

All our cottages and apartments are located in scenic surroundings. They are, according to private owners, differently equipped and furnished and designed especially for the holidays. The furniture in the cottages is appropriate in general and the bedrooms are often equipped with single or sofa beds, which can often be shorter and narrower than usual with us. Kitchens in older homes are simply furnished, and their equipment usually do not correspond to the quality of your kitchen at home. Houses with several floors often have wooden stairs, which can partially be very steep and narrow and are not always supported by a railing. Often, wood and coal stoves with central heating and / or by electric radiators to heat the rooms individually. We ask you to observe that the electricity and energy costs in the Czech Republic have risen sharply in recent years and some are already above the Western European level. The snow in the winter sports regions may reach 2 m and more. The clearing of the streets is organized, the availability of access roads to individual houses but is not guaranteed immediately. Therefore, to take snow chains is strongly recommended. In very severe snow conditions, it can happen in a particular case that the vehicles for a few days a few hundred meters from the cottages must be parked away because the parking spaces near the houses are unreachable. The larger ski resorts usually have modern lift facilities and modern technology for the care and maintenance of slopes and trails. Away from the centers, there are usually simple baby lifts or plate lifts older model years. An increase of the Czech Republic is still relatively cheap value for money for the ski passes, restaurants and shops.

Pastviny lies on its reservoir. Zamberk with its venerable city, renaissance castle with park, sauna, fitness center 6 km. Located southeast of the Giant Mountains, 130 km east of Prague and 50 km east of Hradec Kralove (Hradec Kralove). About Dresden 250 km, about Nuremberg 350 km away.

Characteristics The 30 km long mountain range located in northeast Bohemia. The highest elevation is 1115 m high Velká Deštná (Deschnayer large Koppe). The relatively flat, rounded, and mostly covered with pine ridge usually reaches only about 1000 m and in this case has a relatively low altitude. The region is characterized by dense forests and the picturesque, quiet places.
